Meet The Cue-Tech Instructors

Randy Goettlicher is one of the founding members of the Cue-Tech team. Randy is a Master Level Instructor as certified by the Billiard Congress of America. He is one of the most tireless promoters in the sport of pool. The Southwest Eightball League, which was started by Randy in 1983, is always ONE of the largest BCA Sanctioned leagues in the world. Randy served a three year term on the BCA Board of Directors. During that time he was the chairperson of the League & Program Committe. In addition to teaching at Cue-Tech and running a great league system in Texas, Randy was one of the three founders of the Texas Express Promotions Group. Along with his wife Karen, Randy developed the Scotch-Doubles team play format that is now popular world-wide. Cue-Tech's markerting and business operations are under Randy's care. Leslie Rogers
is also a founding member of Cue-Tech and is a Master Level Instructor. Leslie heads up the instructional staff and is in charge of the curriculum for Cue-Tech's courses. Raised in Japan, Leslie has a strong background in math and physics that he brings to the table for every lesson.

Jerry Powers
has been with Cue-Tech for almost a decade. He is well known throughout the Pool industry as a businessman and custom cuemaker. He recently merged his Jerico Cues with Schuler Cues of Chicago. The Schuler-Jerico Cue Company builds an exellent cue with a unique hit and feel due to the one of a kind patented joint design. Jerry has also teamed up with Kim Davenport as the Tour Director and Marketing Manager for Target Pool Productions. Jerry is certified as an Advanced Instructor with the BCA. He holds over thirty titles as a handgun champion and was a member of the 1984 and 1988 U.S. Olympic Pistol Team.



Jason Butler
has been a member of the Cue-Tech team since 1994. Jason is certified as an Advanced Instructor by the BCA. Jason coached the pocket billiards team at The University Of North Texas for three years before joining Cue-Tech. With a six year background in broadcast news and sports he brings considerable communications skills to the teaching arena. Jason also has a degree in Applied Human Behavior Analysis which adds to his skills as an instructor. Jason can be reached by E-Mailing justice@poolschool.com




Tom Payne
is certified as an Advanced Instructor by the BCA and has been a member of the Cue-Tech staff since 1997. Tom taught for five years in the Midland-Odessa area prior to joining Cue-Tech. Carl Oswald
has been a member of the instructor staff at Cue-Tech Poolschool since his certification with the Billiard Congress of America in 2001. He began studying the game during his free time while attending the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1990.   Carl now teaches at the school regularly to assist the school's three Master Instructors with the student load. Giselle Miller
has been a competitive pool player since 1991.  She moved to Dallas, Texas in 1995 and has been participating in SWEL league play ever since.  She's also competed in various national tournaments and Hunter Tour stops as well as many local tournaments.  She joined the staff of Cue Tech in 2003 and is working her way up the certification process.  Giselle is a Technical Sales Rep/Field Applications Engineer by profession and enjoys playing golf, riding her motorcycle, and riding roller coasters in her minimal non-pool playing time.  She can be reached at spf_freeze@sbcglobal.net
